My love for aviation started as a young kid when my grandfather used to take me up flying in his Cessna 172. Early on I was fascinated by flight. In my young teens I was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Coeur d'Alene Composite Squadron, Idaho Wing. I participated in disaster relief, and was on the ground search and rescue team. CAP provided a wealth of knowledge studying the principles of flight and rocketry. As I grew older my path took me in different directions, ultimately as a photographer.

I recently had the opportunity to jump head-first into the world of aviation photography, and have found a way to reconnect with an industry I deeply love.
